Healing Happens in Community

There’s something powerful about sitting in a room with people who simply get it. No need to over-explain. No need to pretend. Just shared space, shared stories, and the quiet relief of being seen.

Group therapy at Mended Counseling is more than just conversation—it’s connection. It’s a place to witness others, reflect on your own journey, and realize you were never as alone as you thought.

Whether you’re carrying grief, navigating identity, setting boundaries, or trying to unlearn survival mode, group therapy creates space for growth in community—with structure, safety, and care.

Why Group Therapy?

We weren’t meant to go through life—or healing—on our own. Being in a group can help you:
• Feel less alone in what you’re going through
• Hear different perspectives and reflect on your own
• Practice being seen, heard, and supported
• Build skills for connection, boundaries, and communication
• Learn that your story matters—just as it is
For many people, group therapy becomes a place where things start to click. Patterns become clearer. Words come more easily. Healing feels less far away.

What It’s Like

Every group is led by one of our licensed therapists and designed to feel supportive, welcoming, and grounded. You don’t have to talk if you’re not ready. You don’t have to be “good at group.” You just have to show up—we’ll meet you there.
Our groups focus on:
Some groups are open, others run for a set number of weeks. You’ll get all the info before you join, and you’re always welcome to ask questions before committing.
